| | New ProcedureA new application procedure has been put in place for Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) Operating Grants, starting with the September 15, 2009 competition. This includes the open, or general, competition only – Operating Grants for specific research areas are excluded from this change. CIHR now requires that all Fraser Health applications to the general Operating Grant competition be approved and submitted to CIHR by Fraser Health's Department of Evaluation and Research Services (DERS) via the ResearchNet online submission system. Researchers will no longer be able to submit their application directly to CIHR. To accommodate this extra step, DERS will be implementing internal institutional deadlines by which applicants must upload all required documents to ResearchNet.
